Dénia is a historic coastal town in the province of Alicante, Spain, on the Costa Blanca, halfway between Alicante and Valencia. There are many things you can do there, although it is a small port town.

Dénia's Castle

The Castle of Dénia, with more than two thousand years of history, brings together in the same enclosure the traces of the different cultures that have crossed this city. It houses the Archaeological Museum of Dénia.

Beaches of Las Marinas

Denia has more than 16 kilometers of beautiful and good accessible beaches. Most of them with fine sand and all the services you might need. Denia is a coastal city, historically it is known as a port city. Among the most attractive places on the Costa Blanca, Denia is also a very important port with four sports marinas and ferry connections to the Balearic Islands.

Geography

Denia is located on the north coast of the province of Alicante. Valencia is located +- 110 km to the north and Alicante +- 100 km to the south, both have international airports.
Denia is characterized by a hilly landscape with rocks that protrude to the sea and its famous Montgo.
Here you will find many small coves and long sandy beaches. Further south you will find the area called "Les Rotas", with hidden coves, rocky beaches and wonderful transparent water. Towards the north, the landscape changes radically with an area known as "Las Marines" with wide beaches of fine golden sand.
